GO REDWINGS!!

This Friday is GAME 7 (so it's the tie-breaker for those who don't get sports) of the NHL (National Hockey League) PLAYOFFS! Redwings (WAHOO) are defending their title against the Penguins who lost to the Redwings last year. There is a lot riding on this game. One of the players actually left the Pens last year to play for RW for A LOT LESS MONEY so he could win a Stanley Cup! ('Hossa' is the player's name.) So far he hasn't been showing up for the game like they need him to - but none the less - we are talking RWs, so there are many players on this veterans team who can get them the cup. One of the players ( 'Chelios') is 47 - and although doesn't play much still can keep up - well, Aaron would say, not really but better then anyone else his age could - I mean he's on the team right?! The players that I love watching are Lidstrom, Helm, and Zetterberg, oh- and McCarty. They really play like they love the game and with a lot of passion.

Any way you can tell we are big fans, and I often give Aaron a hard time for loving Hockey (mostly the RWs) more then me. But this week he was very sweet to ask me on a date for Friday night. I looked at him and thought 'oh, he want's to watch the game without kids - so if he takes me out, we find a babysitter, we'll go watch the game at his parents or some sports grill... yada, yada, yada' But that was not the case, he was quite serious and I told him...

"You think I'm crazy!! There is no way in you know where (I may have actually said the word - but I'm not putting it in print!!) that I would keep you from this game."

Trying to convince me that it didn't matter, I explained that no one outside of the two of us would ever believe me and I would feel like the jerkiest wife if I took that from him. So instead of going out we are staying in... watching the game! It's not that disappointing to me, I actually enjoy the game. That said, I thought (with his permission) I would show you a little of what Friday will be like for us. Many don't know my husband is like this... and really this is the only time outside of physical/mental danger to his family, you could ever see my husband raise his voice at anyone (or thing as the case may be).

    Ok so this is Ryan on Heather's account. She is right. I love her more than anything even BYU football. But she is right no dates on BYU football day well except if the date is going to the game.

    Ali that video is pretty funny. All I can say is "white trash" and I live in the south so I know what that is. JK I love you Aaron. Go Red Wings

    Seriously, Aaron couldn't even hold still. I totally don't get into sports...but I could get into "Aaron watching sports" sports. I'm glad you are still alive after that mean (and awesome) tape!!
