Sassy BFFs - THANK YOU!

This past weekend my friends and I spent the weekend together 'scrapbooking'. We say scrapbooking, and usually we do get some scrap time in. However, we also watch old, fun, sad, and sometimes cheesy movies, listen to music, share stories and jokes, yell and scream about all kinds of injustices in the world, be a little bitty, and most of all show each other that it doesn't matter what the world might tell us about who we are and what we believe - WE ARE NOT ALONE AND NEVER WILL BE. How grateful I am for friends who love me no matter what. They take the time to listen to me and tell me the truth. We are not a perfect bunch - no really we're not - however, together we accomplish everything and then some.

Some of you may know I was raised by parents who were part of such a group, loving titled "THE PIGS" - from what I remember it stems from a pretty ronchy, but of coarse hillarious, joke my Uncle Guy told one night while they were all cramed in the back of a van coming home from a fun night out. I knew from the very begining of my adulthood that this is the kind of group I as well as my family would NEED to have. These are the same group (outside of family) of people who are considered family. When my mother passed away I was so grateful to have more mothers then I realized come to my aid. And because I was fairly young (19) they tell me stories about my mom and what she would do & say to us as kids. I can't tell you how much this means to me now that I am a mom. I cherish every thing you tell me about her!

As this Thanksgiving rolls through I want to show thanks to all the people in my life who have
'changed my life for good'.

TODAY I SAY THANKS TO MY FRIENDS & THOSE OF MY MOTHER!
I LOVE YOU ALL!

  1. Oh Ali...That's so nice! I have never heard the comment my dad made that gave "The Pigs" their name. I can only imagine, but you will have to share it with me sometime, maybe next weekend, (I'm so excited)! Back to Park City you go again. I love it up there! You can never get tired of it.
