What a fabulous and scary day for a mom... to let go, just a little of your baby, so he can continue growing. We were so proud and excited for Rhett this past Saturday. He made the big decision to be baptised a member of The Church. He did a great job, only had to go down once, and after they came out of the font said to his dad, "I feel so good. I'm glad I chose to get baptised." Next he was confirmed, and Keni & I sang his favorite song, "Teach Me to Walk in the Light". I could barely get through it without crying. Some of the best moments were listening to both his grandpa's bare their testimonies, and having two sets of great-grandparents in attendance. We missed having his Uncle Ben, and his Miller cousins there, but they sent a tie tack that he wore that day to remember them. Here are a few pictures of that day, and below you (if you want) is his baptism video.

Teach me to walk is Hayden's favorite song too. Let me tell you how upset Hayden is that we didn't fly back for Rhett's baptism. I told him that I would let him call Rhett so they could talk about it. So, I will try to remember to do that. I'm going to show the boys his video tonight. They will be so excited to see it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Ryan is flying into Utah today to go to the BYU game tomorrow. But, then he leaves Sunday to go to Las Vegas so he probably wont be able to visit anyone.
